Brick mood board - what to choose for the back garden wall?

This is most likely what our steps up to the back garden will look like (blue bullnose engineering bricks forming the edges). What you can see is what Lenny built at the neighbours' down the road (we all have these sloping gardens, you see).

Last week, we went to the Butterfields Brick Library in Luton again. Yes, such a thing does exist: it's a room full of wooden cards with brick faces mounted on them, so that you can flip through and choose your favourites. A lot are kept in stock in their yard.

This is a machine-made Bovingdon 'Berry Multi'...

This is a Terca 'Olde Welwyn'...

We're thinking Olde Welwyn for the bulk of the brickwork, 'spiced up' with some Bovingdon Berry Multi. However, I've seen the Light Multi online, and think it might be better (photo from the Bovingdon website):

Of course, they're about twice as expensive as the Olde Welwyn - someone say we don't have expensive taste.

This is what the end result could look like, although this is a different kind of brick and the wall is a fair bit higher than what we would want. Our piers will be a maximum of 180cm above ground, and the wall will go up to 120cm, then the rest will be formed of wooden trellis panels.

So, instead of close board fencing, we'd have trellis (trellis picture from Jackson Fencing).

Or how about Venetian panels (thank you again, Jackson Fencing)?

PS, here's how we fixed he trellis in the end. I had to import a 'U' bracket from Germany...almost lost it at airport security, as I'd packed it in my handluggage: Lattice fixed on top of brick wall
