Extreme Hoovering - Mum, look away now...
After the chimney repair, although great care was taken not to drop any debris onto the roof, the gutters were full of sand. So I had this genius idea...*
I know that there's a sport called 'extreme ironing', but 'extreme Hoovering' is much rarer...
It worked a treat, thanks to our Earlex CombiVac industrial vacuum cleaner, which has a very long pipe and nozzle. :-)
*Ed. - I completed the job by standing on a chair in the roof window recesses and directing the CombiVac's nozzle onto the roof and into the gutter on the other (scaffoldless) side. Neither of our activities are to be recommended to anyone on health and safety grounds.
