Not free firewood

Do I look smug? (Especially as the other half has been lugging the logs from the road up the stairs.)

Der Winter kann kommen. Even though it 'costs a branch and a twig', we did buy some firewood from Certainly Wood again this year. It's lovely. Bone dry, almost catches fire by looking at it and it smells wonderful.

Next year, we hope to have built up our stock of free firewood, so that we don't need to 'buy in' any more. 

What you see here are the 25cm-long kiln dried logs, delivered in a 1.6 cubic metre bulk bag.
