Day Two - with cement mixer

 The guys are back on site. 

 

The 'shuttering' for the concrete reminds me of something. Hmm. Ah, yes, it's a bit Heath Robinson...

 

And here they are: our beautiful new, hand-made, imperial-size Luton Grey bricks, fashioned at HG Matthews from South Buckinghamshire clay...

 

 

But aren't they all meant to be grey? Answer: not if you ask for the ones from the bottom of the kiln.
